Jeffrey Remsik has more than 20 years of professional
experience in public relations, marketing and public affairs in both the public
and private sectors. As the firm's president, he is actively involved in
client services, as well as marketing and managing the firm.
Remsik previously served as the vice-president of public and governmental affairs for one of the
largest independent public relations firms in the Midwest. He also was the chief lobbyist for the state's
third largest bank holding company.
In the public sector, Remsik held several positions. He was the chief of staff to the Assembly Speaker
and press secretary and chief of staff for two Majority Leaders in the Assembly. Prior to his work in the
State Legislature, Remsik served as assistant and deputy press secretary for two Wisconsin governors.
He also worked as a newspaper reporter and columnist for The Milwaukee Journal, The Daily Reporter,
and The Madison Press Connection, and as a correspondent for several national newspapers.
Remsik is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and its Counselors
Academy. He is a trustee of the Public Policy Forum, where he chairs the committee
that organizes the Forum's
annual Salute to Local Government event. Remsik also sits on the Urban Emphasis
Committee of the Milwaukee County Boy Scouts Council and the Board of Directors
of the American Lung Association.
Remsik, an Indiana native, is a 1976 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison,
School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where he studied as a Harry J. Grant
Scholar.
